This page will list all my favourite websites that I plan to use in my classroom one day or that I have used for university presentations!!!

Wordle - website where you can make word pictures by combing many words on a topic

Padlet - blank wall on website where you and others can add things (online bulletin board)

Pixabay - free picture search engine





MY FAVOURITES (for teachers):
Class Dojo - for teachers/parents/students - to give positive online rewards

Classroom Timers - choose between many interactive stop watches and display in your classroom to time things




MY FAVOURITES (for kids):
Piktochart - place to make graphic design posters

The Noun Project - search for clipart photos of nouns (good to use with Piktochart)

Domo Animate - online animations where you can make stories (online and interactive comic book)

Prezi - online presentation website



OTHERS:
DIY - project ideas that you can "do it yourself"

DS106 Assignemnts - online assignment bank where you can choose assignments worth different stars in different personal strength areas

WeVideo - basically a movie maker for browser (like iMovie)

GoogleDrive - a place to work collaboratively with peers

UJAM - make a song/make your music - good to use for projects

desmos - "beautiful, free math" type in equations and watch them come up on the graph. i.e. a = x+1

Capzles - online timeline or time capsule you can create

Educreations - app that can covert your mobile device into an interactive whiteboard where you can record your voice, draw and insert pictures and write

Schoolhouse Technologies - Vocabulary worksheet generator for spelling, vocal and language arts

Letter Generator - from ReadWriteThink is an online program that helps students build a letter step-by-step for either a friendly letter or a business letter

Tracker - free and open source video analysis program which allows students to model and analyze the motion of objects (physics)

Khan Academy - provides resources, exercises and lectures on a wide range of subjects including bio, chem, math, economics, and history.
